LANGUAGES AND LITERATURES OF
BUDDHISM
One of the main research areas of PHI is the Languages and Literatures of Buddhism, i.e. the study of the classical philosophical and religious literature of Buddhism – written in languages such as Sanskrit, Pali, Tibetan, Classical Chinese and Uyghur.
